The Atik CCD Camera , GP is an ideal camera for initiation. In a simple operation, it incorporates the self - guiding and photography functions.
Autoguiding is possible thanks to its sensitivity on the CCD sensor that allows it to detect dim stars. It has a high frame rate. It incorporates an ST-4 type port on the back that allows direct connection to the mount. In this case, self-guidance can be done through the capture software itself.
The most suitable photography for this system will be the planetary one , the camera offers a sensitivity of 30 frames per second in 12 bits. 16-bit scanning is recommended to record planetary details at lower contrast, such as Saturn's cloud bands.
