The Baader Continuum sunscreen will provide us with a much clearer, more contrasting and turbulent observation of the Sun. An indispensable tool to observe sun spots, granulations and the surface of the Sun.
This filter is centered at 540nm , with a bandpass of 10nm . It is useful for both astronomical observation and astrophotography . It is especially indicated for achromatic refractor telescopes and Schmidt-Cassegrain since it excludes the wavelengths of red and blue.
This filter should always be used together with a Baader sheet or ASSF filter and in astrophotography it is recommended to use it together with a UV / IR filter to block IR.
