The Baader Planetarium eudioscopic design is an improved variation of the Plössl-type eyepieces. This is substantially noticeable when used with fast telescopes like an f4-f5 Newton. An Eudiascopic eyepiece offers sharpness and color correction throughout the field of view, superior to that provided by an Erfle or a Plössl. The eyepiece is complemented by a removable rubber eye protector.
