Baader Planetarium proposes eudioscopic design as an optimized variation of the Plössl-type eyepieces. This is mainly noticeable when using fast telescopes. With the 5mm Eudiascopic eyepiece, bright and contrasting images of planets and the moon are obtained thanks to the sharp transmission. The eyepiece is complemented by a comfortable removable rubber eye protector. Due to its characteristics, it is a very suitable eyepiece for amateur astronomers.
