Baader filter designed to maximize contrast in lunar observation and in planet details . Its lenses are responsible for blocking stray IR light and enhance the blue and violet spectral band. All this while preserving the color of the image.
It is recommended for refractor telescopes , especially for initiation if the user wants to see with more contrast and sharpness, details of the craters of the moon or spots of certain planets. In short, it is a reducer of chromatic aberration .
It is compatible with use in astrophotography , using CCD cameras. It can also be used in Earth observation .
