This
Baader filter corresponds to the
H-alpha range with a
3.5nm bandpass , but intended for astronomical photography in
CCD format
of deep sky , nebulae and galaxies in places where the quality of observation is not very good, for example cities with high
light pollution .
The filter is intended for
telescopes with focal lengths between
f / 3.5 and f / 10 , if they have apertures greater than 6 ", in order to have a good deep sky option. Special for
monochrome CCD cameras to obtain
high contrast images in faint stars and deep sky.
This filter is not suitable for observation, only intended for
astrophotography . It is polished and covered by both bands, with an exquisite optical treatment.
