The Baader Neodymium Filter is designed to achieve optimal contrast in astronomical observation and reduce the impact of light pollution on our observations.
It is recommended for use in telescopes with large aperture and light gathering, such as Newtonians or Scmidt-Cassegrain , therefore in instruments suitable for deep sky observation.
With this filter we achieve a high color contrast , an IR block, and thus the maximum light transmission of deep sky objects is allowed. It is valid for eyepieces and CCD cameras , and we find it in a 1.25 "and 2" version .
