The Baader Red-CCD filter is a filter exclusively for photographic use in monochrome CCD cameras, which allows the band pass between 595 and 680nm , that is, the red fraction of the spectrum.
It is especially indicated for use in environments with high light pollution , such as large cities, especially if we want to photograph deep sky . In monochrome CCD cameras, this filter enhances the contrast of the images, obtaining a much sharper photograph.
This filter belongs to the Baader RGB range, the entire range of filters are coated and polished on both sides, and the glass is of the highest quality to ensure maximum light transmission , around 99%. This treatment also completely eliminates reflections and halos .
