Barometers are meteorological instruments used to measure atmospheric pressure. To make the best forecasts, at RAIG we offer you mercury barometers, aneroid barometers and Goethe barometers. Keep browsing to know them and choose the one that best suits your needs!
Atmospheric pressure is a measurement of the influence that a mass of air or column exerts on bodies and liquids.
Atmospheric pressure is measured in hPa, mmHg or mba, and it varies proportionally with height. At higher altitudes, less pressure and vice versa, it is therefore recommended to regulate the barometers to the pressure at sea level. The normal pressure at sea level is 1013hPa, classifying in high pressures or anticyclone if we are above or low pressures and storm or depression if we have lower values.
The trend in atmospheric pressure helps us predict the weather.
