The optics have multiple layers of coating and a phase corrector, which provides a very sharp and bright image. The 8x24 roof prism is the smallest of the entire Kite product range and provides significant benefits such as waterproofing and nitrogen gas sealing.
Internal focusing mechanisms result in an overall very compact optical system. The robust chassis is completely watertight and waterproof, making them highly resistant to moisture and shock. The visors have a rubber twist-up type eye protector, making them very comfortable to wear, even with glasses. The roof prism also allows this Vireo 8x24 model to fold down to a width of only 67mm.
In addition to the binoculars, the kit includes covers for the optics, a protective cover and a strap.
