New Kowa BDII XD Prominar binocular with 8x magnification and 42mm aperture, suitable for nature observation and easy to carry on route, travel or excursion. The larger aperture, up to 42mm, provides more light and therefore better optical and viewing performance. It also has an "ultra close focus" of 1.5m which allows these binoculars to be used for detailed observation of insects and plants .

Kowa has designed binoculars with maximum optical performance , due to their XD treatment, the equivalent of HD and ED treatment of other brands of binoculars. This treatment and multi-coated lenses guarantee maximum color fidelity , resolution and contrast , in an image free of chromatic aberrations .
The renovation of the entire Kowa BD range represents a revolution in the concept of the angular field of view, the largest of this series of binoculars in ED and one of the largest on the binocular market, the 8x42 model has a field of angle of 8.2º.

The design is robust , with good grip to prevent falls and with protection against water and dust (100% waterproof) , since the joints are hermetically sealed .
