Raig attends the national presentation of the latest news from Swarovski

On May 12 and 13, Raig was a special guest at the presentation of the new Swarovski optics products , for Spain and Portugal. The Extremaduran town of Zafra and its natural environment brought together several representatives, including merchants, professionals and scientists, in order to be able to test in person the latest optical resources of this Austrian brand for observation and digiscoping .

In this event, the BTX binocular module for ATX / STX objectives, the 1.7x multiplier ring, the PTH tripod head and finally the BR rail or skate base were presented .

The places chosen for this sample were the Alange reservoir, the rocky outcrops of Oliva de Mérida, Sierra Grande de Hornachos, Matachel river and Arroyo Conejos. Exceptional views that allowed observing a wide variety of fauna and making the most of the instruments.

BTX binocular module:

The BTX binocular module represents a revolution in observation and ornithology. The possibility of binocular vision with both eyes offers a greater angle of vision and, above all, comfort that has never been seen before in terrestrial telescopes. An ergonomic forehead rest system has been added to binocular vision, ideal for long observations , a very common process in ornithology.

This module is compatible with the objectives of the ATX / STX range of Swarovski, targets 65.85 and 95mm opening. In combination with the 65 and 85mm objectives, the binocular module provides a 30X fixed magnification, while with the 95mm objective this magnification increases to 35X fixed .

We also remember that these optical devices are equipped with HD swarovision optical technology and fluoride lenses , which provide maximum color fidelity and sharpness , right up to the edges of the optics. With it we manage to reproduce even the smallest detail .

1.7X multiplier ring:

The ME 1.7X magnification multiplier fits between the eye module and the objective module of the Swarovski ATX / STX and BTX series in order to multiply the initial magnification x 1.7. Using the BTX module we manage to expand up to 50X in combination with the 65 and 85mm objective modules and up to 60X for the 95mm module.

Ball head or PTH tripod head:

The professional PTH head or head for tripod adapts to long periods of observation to achieve a much more stable observation. It incorporates an integrated fluid bearing to guarantee smooth and precise movements .

BR rail or sled base:

This accessory is essential for digiscoping . It provides two points of support to the system and from here maximum stability is achieved, an essential feature to adapt your equipment to photography . The maximum performance of this rail is demonstrated with the 95mm objective module, which requires greater stability due to its weight. This rail is perfectly compatible with the new PTH ball joint , in an unbeatable combination.
