Blue and white dial tide gauge

This model of tidal indicator, as its name indicates, is useful to know if the tide is high, low or tends to rise or fall. And how is it known? Well, the movement of the water tides in the oceans or seas is governed based on the cycle of the Moon, the gravitation of the earth and the Sun.

Approximately every 6 hours, when the moon passes through a meridian and according to the lunar phases, the movements of the tides rise or fall. Hence, the tidal indicators, powered by an AA battery, determine the state of the tide in bays, oceans, seas or aquatic areas.
It is a model made with high quality and precision materials, and the case can be made of brass or chrome. On the dial it indicates in red, at the top and bottom if the tide is high or low. The design is nautical and sporty, the dial very easy to read and visual, with colors and deductive symbols.
