Details

More information
The Celestron Astromaster series is considered by professionals in the sector as well as by astronomy fans as one of the best introductory series both for its optical quality and for the quality and robustness of the materials used.
The Celestron Astromaster 114 EQ telescope is a very good starter option in astronomy of the Reflector Newton type and has a diameter of 114 mm . It is a very versatile telescope thanks to its great light gathering capacity and its long focal length of 1000 mm that will allow you to make clear, bright and contrasty observations.
What can I observe with the Celestron Astromaster 114 EQ?
We will be able to observe both planets and the deep sky (constellations, galaxies and nebulae). Its f / 9 focal ratio makes it a very versatile telescope getting better results in planetary observation than with the Astromaster 130EQ as it has a higher level of contrast. With the Celestron Astromaster 114 EQ we can see the Moon in great detail. In addition, we will be able to observe Mars, the rings of Saturn and the moons of Jupiter.

Hi there, I was wondering can you help me, as I have recently moved home and am now in a fantastic area to star gaze. I'm looking to purchase a telescope that I can view planets, the moon and perhaps more. My budget is kind of restricted. I also have been told about computer guidance telescopes. The one I am viewing now, does this have a computer guide on it? Are they easy to use? I would be a first time buyer. Thank you so much in advance, Kind Regards, Mick

Store response | 02/04/2020

Hi Mick , Yes, that one it's an amateur telescope, used for seeeing planets , moon and a little bit og deep space. This is not go-to system, it's manual. The telescopes with go-to system are more expensive , around 600-700€. With these ones you could take photos, also. Thanks, Sergi

Sergi
