The Celestron
C5 Spotter spotting scope is a
device prepared for ground observation at great distances. Its high optical quality gives an optimal result for use in
ornithology and fauna observation , all thanks to the system of a 5 "
Schmidt-Cassegrain catadioptric tube, more used in astronomy, but at the same time innovative in terrestrial use.
It features a
127mm aperture and a 1250mm focal length, so its focal ratio is
f / 10 . Includes the
inverter prism , to have a natural vision of the image, as well as a 6x30
search engine . The minimum focus distance is only 6m, therefore this increases performance in nature observation.
The
Starbright XLT optical treatment is the same used in astronomy, with widely proven results. It will offer you
sharp, crisp and bright images , even in unsuitable ambient conditions.
It includes a
25mm eyepiece with 50X magnification, but the user can adapt all kinds of eyepieces, even those with zoom. The maximum magnification available is 300X. It has a full weight of
3kg and a length of 30cm.
It allows adapting the corresponding accessories to be able to take
photographs or digiscopping.
