Celestron CGE Pro Equatorial Mount

To achieve the highest quality in astrophotography, Celestron has developed the evolution of the German computerized equatorial mount Scmidt Cassegrain in the CGE Pro series. This mount increases the load capacity, being able to support tubes of up to 14 ", of a maximum of 41kg. axis of gravity on the tripod, thus reducing vibrations and gaining robustness when following.
The mount has oversized controls, AR and Dec, to adjust the mount in altitude and azimuth, no tools are needed to adjust the polar axis. The improved gear and motor assembly offers a faster turn, with a maximum peak of 5º / sec. The monitoring process can cross the meridian up to 20º without interrupting the capture of images in any area of the sky. Locate, center, and track star objects with the highest degree of precision. With just one alignment control unit the CGE Pro has the ability to center a star in the eyepiece or on the CCD chip within 5 arc minutes.
