The computerized equatorial mount will continue to track objects during astrophotography beyond the meridian, even for objects close to it. The database is complete with 40,000 objects. Load capacity of up to 23kg and turning speed of 5º / second. The Permanent Periodic Error Correction allows users to determine and correct the periodic error of the worm gear, while the mount retains the recordings made of such corrections.
The new electronics design delivers constant regulated power to the motors making them capable of controlling the telescope even when it is not perfectly balanced. This allows us to have a load capacity similar to the larger frames without sacrificing the smoothness of the tracking movement. All mounting wiring is internal, thus improving its design and ergonomics.
Among the technical details of this telescope are the copper and steel gears with 90mm diameter sprockets. Low Cog DC servo motors with integrated optical encoders. Fully internal wiring. Six-pin RJ-12 plug for coupling an autoguider, to work with ST-4 cameras. Autoguiding and auxiliary ports and RS-232 serial cable.
The tripod is very robust, with 70mm diameter legs, made of stainless steel and a metal tray for accessories.
