The NexStar SLT series is expanded with two new 5 "and 6" models with the Schmidt-Cassegrain optical system, opening up new possibilities and horizons for this historic series of computerized telescopes . With these models we will have a more versatile observation of planets and deep sky, obtaining an advanced initiation product.
The Schmidt-Cassegrain 5 "model has a 127mm aperture and a focal length of 1270mm. The focal ratio is f / 10. It incorporates 2 eyepieces of 25 and 9mm, a zenith prism of 90º and 1.25". Auxiliary ports for connection of additional accessories such as GPS module or Wi-Fi module, programmable flash memory to update the firmware of the control unit and the motor plate via the Internet, a 12V transformer to connect to the current.
The control unit has a database of more than 4,000 objects . The SkyAlign alignment function allows you to align on three bright objects quickly and easily : enter the date, time and place and point to 3 light objects that you should not even know about and it is automatically aligned.
