Astronomical telescope with
Scmidt-Cassegrain optical system. It has an aperture of 150mm or 6 "and a focal ratio of f / 10. The optical tube is completed with a motorized
mount or
GO-TO ,
Altacimuth fork .
The
NexStar 6 SE is a versatile telescope for both
planetary and
deep sky observation . The
mirror system, mostly the diameter of the
primary mirror , gives it enough
light to see
Saturn and its rings,
Jupiter and its atmosphere,
moon craters in great detail, etc., as well as versatility for
deep sky makes it an excellent tool for observing
galaxies, constellations, and nebulae .
Incorporating
StarBright XLT multi-coated optical treatment, this treatment ensures optimal
light transmission and also effective performance of both image
brightness and contrast . This aspect is key in astronomical observation, especially in the planetary one, since definition is gained in the details.
The
Altazimuth fork mount is specially designed for
observation . Although we are talking about a 6 "telescope, the mount materials are
light but very stable, and that makes it a great advantage to
transport the telescope to a place where we can ensure an absolutely clean sky, without light pollution.
The
GO-TO system that incorporates the mount allows precise and stable
tracking of those celestial objects that we want to observe. The remote control and its
NexStar + system allow to store up to
40,000 points or celestial objects, in addition to the function of a true
space tour through the most interesting points in the sky. The
SkyAlign alignment
system allows the telescope to be aligned in three steps. You start by centering three shiny objects, click the align button and you're ready to start the tour!
The system supports more advanced functions not included in this product: The StarSense system or the SkySync GPS system.
