The Celestron OMNI XLT series offers a range of equatorial mount manual telescopes with different optical designs, ideal for that amateur observer but wanting to go beyond the simple initiation range, for example the Astromaster or Powerseeker series.This model incorporates the Schmidt-Cassegrain optical system, in a 127mm aperture and 1250mm focal length optical tube. The Schmidt-Cassegrain tube allows a detailed observation of planets and moon and also an initiation to the deep sky, being able to observe the first galaxies and constellations . The XLT optical treatment of the lenses guarantees higher quality, sharpness and contrast, a notable difference with previous versions.
The mount is an equatorial Omni CG-4 type , with a stainless steel tripod and two counterweights. It is designed so that your orientation movements are smooth and precise.
