Celestron Starsense Explorer 80 LT

Astronomical observation has never been easier or faster thanks to the new Celestron Starsense Explorer series of telescopes. Thanks to the use of the Celestron app connected to the telescope, any user, be it a child or an adult, can use the telescope, whether or not they have astronomical knowledge.

Celestron launches a revolutionary new series of telescopes, the StarSense Explorer. With these new telescopes and the StarSense Explorer smartphone app, you can achieve perfect alignment in just 2 minutes. This method, until now related to computerized telescopes, had never been successfully tested in hand-operated telescopes, until the arrival of this new StarSense Explorer range.

The operation of this system is incredibly simple, the user must put their phone in the smartphone holder included in the telescope, start the application, and from there select the point or celestial object to observe. Once communication is established, the application will slowly and precisely give you the movement instructions until the telescope is perfectly aligned with the point to be observed. Then, you can go to the eyepiece and start the observation, with the certainty that in the center of the image you will have the object you want to see.

The StarSense Explorer LT 80 AZ model is a refractor model with an 80mm aperture and a 900mm focal length, intended for the initiation of lunar and planetary observation. It incorporates 2 eyepieces, one of 36X (25mm) and one of 90X (10mm) of 1.25 "and a 2X barlow lens. We will be able to continue equipping our telescope with more eyepieces to obtain other magnifications and also improve their quality.

The kit includes the red light finder and the aluminum tripod, ideal to give the telescope total stability. Smartphone support is also included to be able to use the application.
