Celestron launches a revolutionary new series of telescopes, the StarSense Explorer . With these new telescopes and the StarSense Explorer smartphone app you can achieve a perfect alignment in just 2 minutes . This method, until now related to computerized telescopes, had never been successfully tested in hand-operated telescopes, until the arrival of this new StarSense Explorer range.

The operation of this system is incredibly simple , the user must put their phone in the smartphone holder included in the telescope, start the application, and from there make a preliminary alignment of the telescope following the instructions indicated in the app. The alignment process will only take a couple of minutes. Once aligned, the magic begins. By means of a button, the app will show you the objects that are available at that moment with a photo and description of them. We can select one of these objects and it will show us the planisphere and some arrows that will indicate the direction where we have to move the telescope in real time . Once we are approaching the object, a reticule opens that grows larger as we approach the object and when we already have it in the center of the target it turns green and indicates that we are ready for observation. Then, you can go to the eyepiece and begin the observation, with the certainty that in the center of the image you will have the object you want to see. Never before has it been so easy , so fast and so educational !

The Celestron StarSense Explorer 114mm model is a 114mm aperture and 1000mm focal length reflector model, intended for the initiation of planetary and deep sky observation , due to its focal ratio of 9 and high luminosity. It incorporates 2 eyepieces, one of 40X (25mm) and another of 100X (10mm) of 1.25 "and there is always the possibility of expanding the magnification with other types of eyepieces, as well as improving the quality.

The kit includes the red light finder and the aluminum tripod, ideal for giving the telescope total stability. Smartphone support is also included to be able to use the application.
