This particular model offers 15x magnification and a doublet lens , which produces greater transparency in the glass compared to a magnifying glass with a normal spherical lens. It is true that if we compare it with a magnifying glass whose optics are triplet, the doublet provides less clarity and sharpness of the image, being also very pure in vision . Nor does it produce any type of alteration in terms of reflections or chromatic aberrations, the entire field of vision being a field of focus through which to observe.
The outer case is metal , robust and resistant to shocks that could damage the magnifying glass.
