Complete official manual meteorological observatory

In order to know and study the climate of your region, it is necessary to have a professional meteorological observatory and thus start a climatic series with totally reliable data.
The meteorological observatory is made up of:

• Official double blind wooden sentry box
  
• Maximum official thermometer
  
• Official minimum thermometer
  
• Psychrometer
  
• Hellmann 200cm2 rain gauge
  
• Barometer
  
• vane
  
• Anemometer

According to the World Meteorological Organization, the instruments must be located at a height of 1.5m, except for the anemometer, which must be located at a height of 10m and free of obstacles at 360º. Ideally, the observatory should be located on a landscaped lawn, to minimize the radiation emitted by artificial floors.
The gate of the gatehouse must always be facing north, to avoid the incidence of sunlight when we open the gate to make daily observations.
The observations will be made in solar time at 7:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., although it is also possible to make only the annotations of the daily maximum and minimum. The observations of precipitation will be the totalized ones in 24h, normally from 7h to 7h or from 0 to 24h.
