Darkfield backlit illuminator. BL-CDW

The Dino-Lite BL-CDW backlit illuminator allows two different types of illumination: bright field and dark field . In bright field mode, light is transmitted from below the sample, showing the shape and structure of the specimen on a bright background.

With dark field illumination, the transmitted light will not reach the microscope, and therefore will not be part of the image. In this case, the image will show bright objects on an almost black background . This type of light is not only suitable for prepared specimens, but also for live specimens, such as flagella, movement by pseudopods, spirochetes, etc.

Both types of illumination allow for high contrast, sharp images and add a new dimension to Dino-Lite portable digital microscopes.
