The
pyranometer or solar radiation sensor (W / m2), calculates the amount of
energy or solar radiation received at a given point and its daily evolution. It also allows a calculation of the
hours of sunshine . This sensor also allows a calculation of
evapotranspiration , an elementary variable in agriculture and plant life.
The
UV radiation sensor (MEDs) indicates the
intensity of the UVA radiation that is being received at your observation site.
UVA rays
are known to be harmful to animals and plants, cause tissue mutations, and encourage the appearance of various skin tumors such as melanomas.
This version is wired, useful for home use in a fixed location.
