The Davis Vantage Pro 2 Wireless ISS pack, together with the Davis Vantage Connect Wireless transmission and communication system, will allow the user to record and consult data at stations installed in remote and difficult to access places.
It consists of the set of integrated sensors or ISS of the Davis Vantage Pro 2 Wireless station and the Vantage Connect Wireless system, a completely autonomous communication and transmission equipment. The communication between the ISS and the Vantage Connect system is 300m and can be expanded with Davis repeaters of long or medium range. The same system incorporates a solar power plate and an emergency battery that is recharged with the solar plate.
The data collected by the ISS and transmitted by Vantage Connect goes directly to Davis' "cloud" or Weatherlink Cloud system, easily accessible from a PC or mobile device.
For the operation of this system it is necessary to acquire a 2 / 3G telephone card and a customized data rate, depending on the desired measurement intervals of 5, 15 or 60 minutes.
