This new X-CEL LX series of Celestron eyepieces is the answer to the expectations of users looking for a quality eyepiece for planetary observation. With a new elegant and robust design and retractable eyepiece, these eyepieces offer comfort and ease of use. They also have a 60° apparent field and consist of 6 fully multi-coated elements that provide spectacular wide-field images.
The Celestron X-CEL LX 12mm eyepiece is parfocal and require very little focus adjustment when switching between high and low magnification. The large field of view greatly enhances observation and it is ideal for planetary observation. The fully multi-coated 6-element optical assembly delivers images of contrasting sharpness. The rubber safety grip provides extra grip, even in wet conditions.
