An eyepiece is an optical device that is placed in the focus of the telescope and that allows the image projected by the objective of the telescope to be magnified, making the resolution and quality of the details of the image projected by the telescope objective become perceptible.
The eyepiece is made up of two lenses: the eye lens, on which the eye rests; and the field lens that allows to increase the width of the visual field. The differentiating element between eyepieces lies in their focal length, being the short focal length ideal for, once the observation area is located, obtaining a large magnification of the detected objects; while those with long focal lengths provide less magnification, making them the best for searching the vastness of the universe.
As it is a basic piece for every astronomer, at RAIG we have eyepieces of the highest quality just for its accessories and from the best brands such as Meade, Baader, Bresser, Celestron, Kowa, Starblitz and other major brands.
