The finder is an accessory that is mounted on top of the telescope and that fulfills an important function of assisting the astronomer during observation because, as its name seems to indicate, it facilitates the task of finding celestial objects. Browse our range of search engines and make your telescope the best in the world:
In astronomy we distinguish two types of search engines: The conventional ones that are located at the top of the telescope, which are a first aid to orient yourself in the sky, before observing with the telescope's eyepiece. These finders usually have between 8 and 10 magnifications, approximately the same potential as a standard binocular and with an opening of about 30mm.
We also offer a second model of finders, the polar finders, these are used to find the polar star, which is the basis for the orientation and alignment of the telescope. This instrument is exclusively for aligning your telescope, and is used in more advanced models where it is located on the back of the mount.
