Garmin's GPS range, GPS MAP 66 , offers handheld devices tailored for the highest demands on mountain, high mountain and open air journeys . Incorporation of In Reach technology into one of its models makes it an accident prevention and protection team.
All models include a 3 " color transflective screen , with this screen the views are much more realistic , especially in those options of satellite images. As it happened in its predecessors, it is a button-operated GPS, suitable to be Used even with gloves and in extreme situations .
In these devices it is possible to incorporate the Bird Eye and TopoActive maps, which will give the hiker the most realistic experience possible. The 66st model incorporates TopoActive maps of Europe.
This GPS has a barometric altimeter, a 3-axis digital compass and a barometer . 3 basic functions in outdoor sports. The helix quad- wire antenna and communication via GPS / GLONASS and GNNS make it the most accurate GPS on the market.
The wireless connectivity of this device, together with the connectivity by Bluetooth and ANT + make it a multidisciplinary GPS, which will even allow you to consult a multitude of meteorological information , such as radar images, live. The GeoCatching Live function offers you synchronization with the mobile phone and the possibility of receiving updates.
