The NEQ3 SynScan mount is a GOTO or computerized mount, which incorporates a precise movement and gear system. The crown and bisenphin system guarantees maximum precision in the movement of the frame, the SynScan program corrects the periodic error caused by the gear system. Dual axis motor, with various speeds (0.25x to 800x) of search and guidance (Lunar, Solar and Sidereal), both in the northern and southern hemispheres.
The SynScan system allows the storage of up to 42,000 celestial reference points . And its library also includes information on more prominent celestial objects, such as asteroids and comets.

The mount includes the SynScan Computer controller , which will allow easy control of your telescope through your PC via RS-232 connection to the remote control. This same guide port (AUTO-GUIDER) will be useful if you want to use this telescope for astrophotography . The command responds immediately to the contact of any key. There is also the possibility of incorporating a GPS into the equipment to facilitate data entry into the system. The software will always be upgradeable via the web.
