This pack is made up of series 2 and 3 of the Gitzo Mountainee r tripod and the Gimbal ball head from the same French brand. It is a pack designed for heavier equipment than the previous packs of this same tripod model. Series 2 and 3 give a load capacity of 18kg to 21kg , which allows, for example, equipment for observing large-format ground-based telescopes with more than 85mm aperture and digiscopping sets .
