This rain gauge follows the design proposed by Hellmann, although it has less capacity than its older brother, the version for official observation. This model has a 100cm2 mouth surface and a total capacity equivalent to 120l / m2 of precipitation.
It is built in stainless steel totally resistant to the outside. And it incorporates an internal product with a capacity of 25l / m2 and a resolution of 1l / m2. It also includes a fixing system for mast or support. It is recommended to install the rain gauge in an open place and at a height of 1.5m above the ground.
