This rain gauge follows the design and construction model of Hellmann large capacity rain gauges, therefore it is a rain gauge endorsed for official records of precipitation according to the regulations of the World Meteorological Organization.
The rain gauge has a collection area or mouth of 200cm2 and a total capacity that exceeds 220mm / lm2. It is a totalizing instrument, which measures the total accumulated precipitation in a certain time interval, until the observer does the manual emptying and the measurement. It incorporates an inner plastic vessel and a 200cc graduated cylinder.
It also includes a cross support to be able to fix it to a mast. It is recommended to install at 1.5m high and in a place free of obstacles.
