Coming from two Greek words that can be translated as "humidity" and "measurement", the word hygrometer refers to an instrument that is used to measure atmospheric humidity.
The relative humidity of the air actually expresses the amount of water vapor that we find in the atmosphere. The steam comes from the evaporation of the seas and oceans, rivers, lakes, plants and other living things. The amount of water vapor that can be absorbed by the air depends on its temperature. Hot air admits more water vapor than cold air.
With this instrument you can measure the relative humidity of the air in%, since it has sensors that allow you to perceive and indicate its variation.
Relative humidity is a parameter to be controlled indoors or outdoors. We can control the humidity inside our home but also in spaces such as warehouses and museums, where this variable will be key in the conservation of the product. At home, humidity control is necessary in rooms where babies and children sleep, especially if they have a respiratory problem.
We have analog and digital hygrometers at your disposal, depending on which of them is most practical to use.
