Brand: Reed
Reference: R2007
The REED thermometer, model R2007, is the dual instrument for temperature measurement by target location via laser and infrared reading. Recommended in the case of the evaluation of remote systems, such as the case of pyrolysis furnaces.
The precise temperature reading, using the REED R2007 thermometer, is performed by locating the object of study with the help of a laser integrated into the instrument. The equipment has the ability to identify temperatures as high as 1,100 ° C over long distances, thanks to the emissivity of the material, and audible high or low temperature alarms can be programmed. A distance ratio of 50: 1 is used for greater reading precision.
The REED R2007 model has a pistol shape, which facilitates its handling and favors the identification of the study objective and the measurement process. Widely used in applications in the automotive industry for the evaluation of engines. Remote reading is appropriate in the calibration and control of heaters, ovens and other industrial equipment, in order to adjust the flow of air or fuel gas or define modifications in the preventive maintenance plan. In foundries, remote monitoring of the heating or cooling process of metal parts is facilitated.
The instrument has the functions to identify maximum or minimum values and an internal memory that facilitates the registration of the last 9 read values.
