The Mono ED 10x42 monocular from Kite Optics presents, both technically and optically, very similar properties to the binoculars manufactured by the same brand, both in terms of prisms and optical system, with lenses coated with multiple anti-reflective coating that provide a fantastic image sharpness and clarity as well as great brightness.
Its chassis is solid but light, covered with non-slip rubber to protect the optical system in case of falls or blows. The Mono ED 10x42 is completely waterproof and watertight, and has been sealed with dry nitrogen gas that prevents condensation of the optics in situations of humidity or sudden temperature changes.
