Kowa Genesis 10.5x44 DCF XD Binoculars

The Kowa Genesis series is the highest step in the evolution in optical technology of this Japanese brand. This model, with 10.5x magnification and 44mm aperture, is manufactured using XD technology, with extra-low dispersion (ED ) and HD quality. This optical treatment incorporates 4 XD lenses, (2 + 2), which totally reduce chromatic aberrations and improve image contrast . The lenses are made of fluorite glass. It escapes the 10x standard and incorporates 0.5x more, also 4mm more aperture, to further improve performance.

The C3 multi-coating of the lenses achieves optimal color definition and a field of view 14% greater than the 32mm model of the BD series. This allows for higher reflectivity than optically enhanced silver or aluminum, offering 99% or more reflectivity across the entire visible spectrum (400-700nm). This not only provides brilliant, sharp images, but also accurate color reproduction .
They incorporate nitrogen gas inside to prevent fogging. Waterproof , splash resistant and with a good non-slip grip to prevent falls.
This binocular becomes a first-rate tool for terrestrial observation , especially birds and fauna . The optical qualities allow it to be used even in low light conditions or with reflections , for example in watching water birds at sunset.
