The Kowa TSN-501 telescope has a 45-degree angled eyepiece that has a 20 to 40x variable zoom and a 50mm objective diameter . It has a minimum focus distance of just 2.5 meters that will allow us to make observations of insects in exceptional detail. The body of the telescope is constructed of polycarbonate to make it robust and lightweight. It is waterproof and nitrogen filled to prevent fogging of the lenses when there are sudden changes in temperature.
