Analytical scales are all those scales that measure small mass weighings that oscillate within a range of less than a milligram.
Currently
digital laboratory or analytical scales can reach a
resolution of ten thousandth of a gram (0.0001g).
They are
extremely accurate scales. The aluminum measuring plate is covered by 4 transparent walls with a front opening to be able to weigh the object in question. This semi hermetic seal avoids that an air blow could distort the weight or strain a speck of dust.
To prevent natural convection from forming an air stream, and as a consequence an error in the reading, it is important that the sample is at room temperature, since otherwise the measurement result could be altered.
This type of scales offer
infinity of modalities of use to measure for example: the density of a solid or liquid product, a laboratory animal in motion, unit counting function, the percentage value of the weight of an article or even interface to connect the balance to a computer or PC.
