Lambrecht has put at the service of the
professional meteorological observer, the latest technology in
anemometers . This is
ultrasound measurement in fixed observation equipment.
This
innovative measurement system based on
ultrasound frequency (0.1-10Hz) reduces the volume of the equipment and increases its
precision in the measurement of wind speed and direction. It is a
heated equipment, resistant to very cold and
marine environments , easy to install and with
analog data output . It is installed directly on a
mast or turret , preferably at a height of 10m and is connected to a
power supply for the electrical supply that requires its operation and heating.
It is made of
anodized aluminum , especially resistant to
marine and corrosive
environments . The equipment resists gusts of wind close to 300km / h and can measure values
up to 270km / h. The resolution of the equipment is 0.1m / s and 0.1º in the direction of the wind. Accuracy is +/- 0.2m / s below 10m / s and +/- 2% above these 10m / s, approximately. The
heating system
is smart, regulating its intensity
depending on the direction and speed of the wind
The equipment is equipped with
15m cable and a bayonet plug directly for connecting the analog output. It incorporates
RS485 / RS422 and SDI-12 interface with the option of RS-232 (OPTIONAL). The equipment follows
NMEA 0183, WIMWV and SDI-12 protocols .
