Brand: Leica
Leica presents the most powerful rangefinder binoculars on the market capable of measuring with maximum precision up to 2,750 meters combined with excellent design and optics. Available in 8 and 10x magnification with 42mm objective diameter. Water and mist resistant.
Leica surprises again with its legacy of being the best rangefinder binocular on the market thanks to the Geovid HD-R 2700 and HD-B 3000 both for its sophisticated, reliable and powerful measurement system and for its innovative open-bridge design with prisms joint and prismatic ceiling, unique so far. The Leica Geovid 8x42 and 10x42 HD-B 3000 are the most technologically advanced as well as being highly ergonomic, comfortable to use and with great optical quality.
At the optical level, it is surprising that the Geovid HD-R 2700 and HD-B 3000 uses the Perger joint prism in a ceiling binocular . This combination of the Perger Porro Prism, which provides a three-dimensional feel and depth of field , is perfect when we integrate it into a ceiling binocular that is lighter and more compact. Thanks to its non-obstructing prisms, fluorite optical glass and fully multi-coated HDC optical treatment, we will obtain ultra-vivid images, with excellent color fidelity and high contrast even in conditions of deep twilight. In addition, the lenses have a Leica Aquadura coating that repels water and dust and makes it easy to maintain and clean the equipment.
The body of the binoculars is made of magnesium alloy with a rubber coating to protect the electronics, the optics and at the same time be light. The third generation design of the Leica Geovid HD-B 3000 binoculars is an open bridge and curved body for better ergonomics, stability and fatigue-free viewing comfort. Thanks to its design we can hold it with one hand without hardly noticing vibrations.
At the electronic level, the Leica Geovid HD-B 3000 binocular has a distance measurement function up to 2750 meters or 3000 yards. Thanks to the internal rangefinder it has the EHR function that calculates the equivalent horizontal range to determine the actual shooting distance. Unlike the Geovid HD-R 2700 model, it incorporates Leica's patented ABC ballistic system . Parameters such as barometric pressure, temperature, and angle are included in measurements to calculate the point of impact more accurately. Using a microSD card and Leica's ballistic calculator, individual ballistic data can be entered into the Geovid HD-B and obtain measurement data that is perfectly matched to each user's load and caliber.
Geovid HD-B binoculars use an internal database that covers the ballistic trajectories of virtually all standard calibers. In addition, other ammunition data or special cartridges can be loaded through the microSD card. Once created ballistic data can be saved to the microSD card for the future and used individually depending on the hunting situation and chosen load. Determining the correct point of impact with the Geovid HD-B 3000 is easier, safer and more accurate than ever before!
The measurement indication is with LED lighting and the intensity of the display is automatically adjusted according to the ambient light. It is easy, simple and intuitive; Just by pressing the button we will obtain the distance in less than 1 second and we will visualize both the linear distance and the shooting angle. If we continuously press the button we will see the variation of the distance in real time.
The Leica Geovid 8x42 HD-B 3000 binocular is more stable due to its magnification contents, we will be able to observe with them for longer without vibrations and we will obtain one more point of luminosity in addition to a greater field of vision. The Leica Geovid 10x42 HD-B 3000 will take us to observe details that cannot be appreciated with lower magnification binoculars. Thanks to their design they are stable and enjoy a wide field of vision.
