This equatorial wedge is designed to adapt, for photographic use, your Meade LX 200 or LX 600 telescope. It allows a very safe and stable mounting, with perfect cushioning during monitoring. With this wedge stability is guaranteed. Made of high quality aluminum .
The X-Wedge is mounted between the tripod and the telescope to achieve a tilt that matches the observer's latitude and thus enables precise alignment with the pole star. The wedge allows the astrophotographer to align the axis of rotation of the telescope with the axis of rotation of the Earth.
Suitable for use with Meade field tripods supplied with all compatible models including 10 to 14 "diameter LX200 and LX600 telescopes. Also compatible with LX90 models and models outside LX50, LX200" Classic "and RCX400.
