As for the primary mirror, 209mm , it is oversized with respect to those listed as tube diameter (203mm). These 7mm allow to gain intensity of brightness and a little more light. The function of the primary mirror lock is essential in astrophotography, since it avoids unnecessary displacement during a long exposure. The Zero-Image micro focuser also helps to get very accurate images.
