Meade LX 70R 5 "Telescope

The LX 70 is a 5 "achromatic refractor telescope equipped with high-quality lenses made with the air chamber system. These lenses improve resolution and contrast in observing planets , the moon, and other planetary and deep-sky celestial objects. Aperture of 120mm , with a focal ratio of f / 8.3 and a focal length of 1000mm. This aperture allows you to resolve details of 0.9 arc seconds in diameter. It comes equipped with two plossl lenses, one 9mm and the other 26mm.
The LX70 frame incorporates slow-moving controls that are prepared for fine and easy adjustment even in difficult conditions, for example when wearing gloves. The tracking is smooth and features alcimuth and straight altitude adjustments as well as a spirit level to ensure a good leveling of the mount. Includes latitude micrometric graduation rings and accessory tray.

In this mount you can also mount optical tubes of up to 9kg, thanks to the vixen-type dovetail.
