Milwaukee Digital Juice Refractometer

Refractometers are optical instruments which serve to determine the concentration of certain substances from the angle of refraction of light, when passing through these liquids.
In this case, the Milwaukee range of refractometers will measure the concentration of different sugars in juices , either in % Brix or % mass . Among the sugars to be measured we find Fructose, Glucose and invert sugars .
We offer 4 different models:

The instruments are calibrated from distilled water and offer us the Brix and mass data with a range from 0 to 85%. It also incorporates automatic temperature compensation , between 10 and 40ºC and temperature measurement in a range of 0 to 80ºC and a resolution of 0.1ºC. The temperature compensation technique is approved in the ICUMSA method book.
The precision is much higher than in analog optical refractometers, and is +/- 0.2%. The reading is displayed on a practical LCD screen and the equipment incorporates a 9V alkaline battery.
