The
MW700 and MW700WP light meters are equipment for measuring
light intensity , taking the lux as the reference unit.
This instrument is used, for example, to calculate the intensity of light received by crop
plants , the light from
indoor spaces or the light in a bucket, tank or aquarium in the case of the
MW700WP submersible model, in order to assess the degree
turbidity and water quality .
The unit of measurement is the
Lux , with 3 selectable range scales: from 0 to 1999lux, from 2000 to 19999Lux and from 20000 to 50000Lux. The
resolution varies between 1 and 100Lux depending on the range scale used.
Accuracy is around +/- 6%.
Supplied with a silicone photodiode
probe or sensor and a 9V
alkaline battery .
