Milwaukee MW100 / MW101 / MW102 Portable Digital PH Meter

Milwaukee portable PH meters are a very useful tool for pH assessment in very soft liquids and solids . Its use can be extended to multiple sectors from food to horticulture or laboratory analysis .

The MW range incorporates three different models:

• MW100 : PH measurement from 0 to 14, with 0.1 resolution
  
• MW101 : PH measurement from 0 to 14 with resolution 0.01
  
• MW102 : PH measurement from 0 to 14 with resolution of 0.01 and temperature, with a range of -5 to 70ºC
  

The meters incorporate a standard probe, the SE220 , and may incorporate other additional probes for greater precision or different utility. The reading is direct and is shown on the LCD of the device.
The device also includes a 9V battery and a 7.01PH calibration envelope on the MW100 and MW101 devices, and 2 envelopes (7.01 and 4.01PH) on the MW102 device. Calibration is carried out manually at 2 points in the case of the MW100 and MW101, while on the MW102 this calibration can be done at three points (4.01.7.01 and 10.01) automatically.
In models MW101 and MW102 temperature compensation is available, in the first case manually and in the second automatically.
Operation of the meters :

• The meter is delivered complete, with a 9V battery. Open the battery compartment cover on the back. Insert the battery respecting the good polarity.
• Always remove the electrode shield before use. In the event that the electrode was left dry, immerse it (up to 2.5cm) a few minutes in washing liquid to reactivate it
• Connect the electrode to the socket located above the meter.
• Make sure the meter was calibrated before use.
• Immerse the pH electrode (2.5 cm) in the supplied liquid.
• Turn on the meter by pressing the ON / OFF button
• Wait for the data to stabilize before taking the data by the way.
• After measurement, turn off the meter and replace the cap on the electrode with a few drops of storage fluid inside.
