MW101 Precision PH Meter Operation
- The MW101 precision PH meter is delivered complete, with a 9V battery. Open the battery compartment cover on the back. Insert the battery respecting the good polarity.
- Always remove the electrode shield before use. In the event that the electrode was left dry, immerse it (up to 2.5cm) a few minutes in washing liquid to reactivate it
- Connect the electrode to the socket located above the meter.
- Make sure the meter was calibrated before use.
- Immerse the pH electrode (2.5 cm) in the supplied liquid.
- Turn on the meter by pressing the ON / OFF button
- Wait for the data to stabilize before taking the data by the way.
- After measurement, turn off the meter and replace the cap on the electrode with a few drops of storage fluid inside.
Calibration of the PH meter precision MW101:
- Remove the protection from the electrode.
- Dip the electrode in a pH7.01 calibration liquid envelope and wait for the data to stabilize.
- With the PH7 black calibration button, adjust the data to pH7.0
- Open an envelope of pH4.01 calibration liquid and spend a small amount of it to wash the electrode.
- Immerse the electrode in the pH4.01 liquid envelope and read the data once it has stabilized.
- Sets the PH4 / PH10 button to the PH4.0 data.
- The meter is calibrated and ready to measure.
- It is advisable to calibrate the meter at least once a month, or after a long unused season or after an electrode change.
